FIRE TECH CELEBRATES 25 YEARS.

FTS25Fire Tech Systems wishes to express our sincere appreciation to our customers for their loyal support as we celebrate our twentieth fifth year in  business. When our company was founded in 1990 with a few employees, we could hardly foresee our growth across the Ark-La-tex with a satelllite in West Monroe and a staff of 80 plus employess. We could not have come this far without our customers and the dedication and hard work of our employees that make up the Fire Tech team.   Fire Tech has been blessed to have the best trained and equiped employees in the life safety industry, without them none of this could have been possible.  Everyone here at Fire Tech looks forward to another twenty five years of providing the Ark-La-Tex the highest quality of customer service and providing you the proactive solutions for life safety systems you've come to expect from Fire Tech Systems, Inc.

FIRE TECH TEAMS UP WITH THE RED CROSS

Fire Tech Systems, Inc. has teamed up with the American Red Cross as part of the "Give for Good North Louisiana" campaign.  Give for Good is a 24-hour online giving challenge led by The Community Foundation of North Louisiana to raise unrestricted dollars for the nonprofits in our community. It is a day of giving to celebrate the nonprofits in our community and a chance to raise thousands of dollars to make our community even better. In the meantime, here is the Fire Tech Systems, Inc. donation URL http://www.redcross.org/cm/firetech-pub

The “Donation” page will have two new fields where individuals can designate their gift related to Fire Tech Systems, Inc.

1) a “yes/no” field asking whether this donation is related to a specific company’s giving campaign; and

2) a blank field where the donor can specify the company (i.e. Fire Tech Systems, Inc.)

Fire Tech will also be sending out volunteers in June to assist the American Red Cross as part of their
Home Fire Campaign.  Our employees alongside local firefighters and Red Cross volunteers will be installing smoke detectors in homes for those in the community that connot afford these life saving devices.

We at Fire Tech are extremely excited to team up with the American Red Cross on 05/05/15 for the Give for Good NLA as well as the giving back a little time assisting during their Home Fire Campaign.  We pride ourselves in giving back to our community.  And please always remember, Fire Sprinklers and Fire Alarms save lives.

Fire Sprinklers Make the Difference Between a Small Fire and Catastrophic Loss

Small fire at Pratt Paper Mill

Officials responded to a small fire this morning at Pratt Industries. One of the machines that roll paper caused some friction and sparked the fire.
The sprinkler system quickly put the fire out before firemen arrived on the scene.  The fire could have been dangerous if it had spread because the building is covered with insulation.
No one was hurt and business has resumed
